About me...
My name is Daisy Faith Evans, and I am a 19-year-old author from the UK.
My Story
I've always loved stories - when I have one in my head, I find it hard to concentrate on anything else, which definitely worked in my favour when I wrote my first two books, Lemon-Quartz and Game Of Life; I was so focused that they were all I could think about! To me, everything has a story, whether it's a person or a play or a piece of music, and I love to discover new stories wherever I go.

I was born in England in 2006, and currently live in Warwickshire with my parents and two siblings. I have a whippet called Neep who is almost two years old (and slightly crazy), and two gerbils called Rant and Wreck, named in honour of Game Of Life. As a young child, I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), which has had a huge impact on my life, and whilst it has presented significant challenges, it has also (at times) been a blessing in disguise, inspiring me to pursue my dreams despite my difficulties.

Apart from writing, my favourite hobbies are singing, acting and composing music, musical theatre in particular. I have been involved in three productions with Arts Insight Youth Theatre Company based in Leamington Spa, two of which I helped composed the songs for, and I was recently cast in Leamington and Warwickshire Musical Society's 2026 production of the celebrated musical My Fair Lady, running at the Spa Centre in Leamington from 21st - 26th March next year (tickets available from November 2025). No, I'm totally not hinting or anything.

I hope you enjoy Lemon-Quartz and Game of Life, and I can't wait to share more of my literary world with you.

Another perspective
I've known Daisy as long as she's been alive, and given that it's been 19 years (and counting!), it's safe to say that I know her very well.

She's surprised us all from her youngest days when she appeared 3 months early, not to mention 2 days before my second birthday (not that I'm bitter or anything).

The first word anyone would use to describe Daisy should be imaginative. Her imagination knows no bounds, and she has been thoroughly absorbed in her stories since the moment they first popped into her head. The second word would 100% be determined. Editing and publishing her books haven't been easy at any point for Daisy, but she's persevered and produced something truly fantastic.

Growing up, Daisy always had a book in her hand, whether it was one of Jaqueline Wilson's new books, or she was rereading Harry Potter for the hundredth time! When she's not reading or writing, she enjoys acting and singing, and has been involved in several local theatrical productions. Daisy also has a passion for drawing; she created her own illustrations for Lemon-Quartz, which truly brought the book to life.

I hope you can see the love and dedication Daisy has poured into her books, and enjoy reading them as much as I have.

Thank you so much for supporting my little sister,
Emily Evans xx
